Clubbing. Went for the first time in a long time out to a club, and a club that I used to frequent way too often - Mirage. I went with Nanessa, and it was interesting to say the least. Don't get me wrong, it was still a lot of fun and all, but it was different. I think I've kinda-sorta grown out of that stage. Last summer, I was a club or bar almost every week, if not twice a week...it was brutal. I was a freakin' bar star. I look back and think what the hell...because last week when I went, all the girls just seemed to have nothing better to do, skanked it up, and drank their faces off, and just acted overly obnoxious. And most of the guys seemed pretty douche-y. Still fun to dance though, and Mirage has amazingly cheap drinks, but yeah. People watching was just too funny.

Vancouver. Since I've worked at the restaurant, I've become closer with my coworkers of course, and because it makes more sense than my situation, most of them (well, all of them) actually live in Vancouver, or downtown. Hanging out with them more and just talking to them more, I'm really realizing how badly I want to get out of this small, far-away suburb. I love the city. I just love it. The people, the atmosphere, the convenience...I love it. I just need the money to afford it. Sigh. But yeah, I'm working on that goal.

Admiration. Saw a dance show at Gossip on Friday. Poreotics from America's Best Dance Crew performed and some friends of mine were in some of the opening acts. So much awesome dancing, it was so fun. I just loved how there were actual 'dancers' at a club, so there was a circle both before and after the show where people would go and freestyle, and it was oh so good. I wish I could freestyle...definitely an area I need to work on. But anyways, usually when I watch a group, there's someone who will stand out to me that I end up watching mostly. Yeah, let's just say that was the case with one crew and oh man...
So yeah. I repeat, my summer's been freaking amazing. The weather is STILL beautiful (yay!) and July has just been the most amazing month, and it's definitely continuing to be.
Upcoming events: catch-up SIAT lunch, going to see Inception (finally), badminton, Crystal's birthday, and Cirque du Soleil!
